Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24 karat gold dropped by Rs600 on Monday, settling at Rs272,600 per tola, compared to Rs273,200 the previous day.
According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association (ASSJA), the cost of 10 grams of 24 karat gold saw a slight decrease of Rs514, bringing it to Rs233,711 from Rs234,225.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold rose marginally by Rs471, moving from Rs214,706 to Rs214,235.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged, with the per tola rate holding steady at Rs3,350, and the price for 10 grams remaining at Rs2,872.08.
In the international market, gold prices also experienced a minor decline, dropping by $6 to $2,614 per ounce, compared to the previous price of $2,620.
