DPM Dar, EU vice president discuss evolving regional situation 

Islamabad (Web Desk): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Thursday held a telephone conversation with the European Union’s Vice President and High Representative Kaja Kallas, during which they reviewed the current regional environment along with its economic and wider strategic consequences.

During the conversation, Kaja Kallas acknowledged Pakistan’s ongoing positive and constructive contribution toward fostering peace and maintaining stability in the region, appreciating its facilitative approach.

DPM Dar, in response, reaffirmed Pakistan’s consistent commitment to encouraging dialogue and sustained engagement as key tools for promoting regional cooperation and resolving issues peacefully.

He also referred to the recently held EU-Pakistan Business Forum in Islamabad, praising its successful conduct and emphasizing its importance in strengthening bilateral ties and opening new prospects for business collaboration.

Both leaders also agreed to stay in close contact and continue coordination on matters of mutual interest.
