5.4 magnitude earthquake jolts parts of Pakistan

Islamabad (Web Desk): Earthquake tremors were felt in several cities including federal capital Islamabad.

According to National Seismic Monitoring Centre (NSMC), earthquake’s epicenter was located in the Hindu Kush region and its depth was 215 kilometers while it had a longitude of 71.3 East and a latitude of 36.53 North.

The tremors were also felt in different areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), including Peshawar Peshawar, Swat, North Waziristan, Hangu, Mardan, Malakand, Buner, Shangla, Dir, Mansehra, Bitgram, Torghar and Kohistan.

The quake was also felt in Rawalpindi, Lahore Lahore, Multan, Sargodha and Faisalabad.
