Sanya (Web Desk): President Asif Ali Zardari has urged greater Chinese participation in Pakistan’s priority sectors, including renewable and alternate energy, water purification systems, and electric vehicle battery technology.
He shared these remarks during a meeting with Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Hangzhou Jinjiang Group Wang Jian held in Sanya, Hainan province.
On the occasion, President Zardari highlighted that Pakistan is making consistent efforts to attract foreign direct investment across multiple sectors, with particular emphasis on sustainable energy solutions, modern water treatment facilities, and Electric Vehicles (EV) battery manufacturing.
He stressed that such collaborative ventures could play a key role in driving long-term economic stability and industrial advancement in the country.

President Zardari further assured that the Government of Sindh would extend comprehensive facilitation to international investors interested in undertaking projects within the province, especially through public-private partnership arrangements designed to encourage ease of doing business.
During the meeting, the president was briefed that Hangzhou Jinjiang Group is already engaged in several ongoing projects in Pakistan.
The group is recognized among the top 100 business conglomerates in China and maintains diversified operations across heavy industry, fertilizer production, oil and gas, coal gasification, renewable energy, agriculture and irrigation sectors.
