Islamabad (Web Desk): Chairman of High Council for National Reconciliation (HCNR) of Afghanistan, Dr Abdullah Abdullah has arrived in Islamabad on a three-day official visit.
A high level delegation including members of HCNR is accompanying Abdullah Abdullah.
During his visit the HCNR chief will meet President Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Chief Executive of Afghanistan will also hold meetings with Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani, Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser, Foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and other important figures of the country.
Abdullah Abdullah would also address to a ceremony at the Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad (ISSI).
The Afghan chief executive will also formally talk to the journalists.
This is the first visit of Dr Abdullah Abdullah to Pakistan as the Chairman of the HCNR.
The visit will provide an opportunity to both countries to discuss a wide range of issues, including dialogue in the context of the Afghan peace process, strengthening bilateral relations and promoting people-to-people contacts.
