Lahore (Staff Report/Agencies): Afghan President Ashraf Ghani reached Lahore on Friday after spending the first day in the federal capital.
Ghani, who is in Pakistan on a two-day visit, was warmly received by Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar upon his arrival at Lahore Airport.
On this occasion, children presented bouquets to the Afghan President Ashraf Ghani.
Ghani held one-on-one meetings with Buzdar and Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar.
Matters of mutual interest and cooperation for promotion of peace were discussed during the meeting.
Afghan President Ashraf Ghani offered Juma Prayer at Governor’s House Masjid in Lahore.
The Afghan president also met leading traders and entrepreneurs at the Punjab governor house. Later in the day, he visit Badshahi Mosque and Shahi Qila.
