Islamabad (Web Desk): Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, stated on Saturday that Pakistan’s security forces have eliminated 352 fighters of the Afghan Taliban, dismantled 130 of their positions, and captured 26 militants during Operation Ghazab lil-Haq, launched in response to “unprovoked cross-border attacks.”
In an update provided at 9 PM hours, the minister said that more than 535 Taliban combatants were wounded in the operation. He added that roughly 171 tanks and armed vehicles were destroyed.
Tarar also mentioned that airstrikes had successfully targeted about 41 sites across Afghanistan as part of the operation.
