In phone call with PM Shehbaz, Turkiye President Erdogan assures flood relief support for Pakistan

Islamabad (Web Desk): Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan contacted Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif via telephone and expressed profound sorrow over the severe floods affecting various parts of Pakistan.

According to sources, President Erdogan expressed his condolences for the loss of precious lives and property caused by the devastating floods and conveyed Turkey’s solidarity with the people of Pakistan.

He assured that Turkey is ready to provide all possible assistance for relief operations.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif thanked President Erdogan for his empathy and generous offer of support, describing the call as a reflection of the strong, deep, and brotherly ties between Pakistan and Turkey. He emphasized that both countries have always stood shoulder to shoulder during difficult times.

The two leaders also discussed their earlier conversations earlier this year and their upcoming meeting at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit held in Tianjin, China.
