Karak (Web Desk): Security forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Lakki Marwat district killed 17 terrorists affiliated with the Indian proxy group Fitna al-Khawarij during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) conducted on the night of September 26-27, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Saturday.
The ISPR stated that the terrorists were involved in multiple attacks against security and law enforcement agencies. Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the slain militants.
A sanitization operation is ongoing to eliminate any remaining terrorists in the area. The ISPR reaffirmed Pakistan’s resolve to eradicate Indian-sponsored terrorism from the country.
