Hyderabad (Staff Report): At least eight members of a family were killed and 12 others were injured in a road accident near Nooriabad Town of Jamshoro district on Monday.
As per details, the ill-fated family was travelling in a passenger van when it collided with a truck on M9 Motorway.
The passengers were returning from Karachi’s Jinnah International Airportm where they had landed from Saudi Arabia after performing Umrah. The family members were on their way to Ghulam Muhammad Tunio village in Patidan town of Noshehro Feroze district.
The deceased were identified as Medical Superintendent (MS) Patidan Taluka Hospital Ghulam Mustafa Tunio, Shah Muhammad Tunio, Sakina Tunio, Rehana Tunio, Mehreen Tunio, Zahida, Ali Ahmed and van driver Ghulam Hyder Sanjrani.
The bodies and injured were shifted to Liaquat University Hospital (LUH) Jamshoro and LUH Hyderabad.
