Iran appreciates Pakistan’s role in promoting peace process

Islamabad (Web Desk): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar has reiterated Pakistan’s resolve to play a constructive role in achieving lasting peace and stability in the region and beyond.

During a telephonic conversation with Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, both sides agreed to maintain close and regular contact.

The Iranian foreign minister appreciated Pakistan’s continued support in promoting the peace process.

He also expressed gratitude to Pakistan for facilitating the safe and smooth repatriation of Iranian crew members and fishermen to their homeland.
