Islamabad (Staff Report/Agencies): The Supreme Court (SC) has ordered National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to inform the court whether Finance Minister Ishaq Dar was pardoned in the Hudaibiya Paper Mills scam.
The direction by the top court’s five-judge bench, which is hearing Panama Papers scandal, came after the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) filed a petition seeking the disqualification of Dar over alleged money laundering.
During the proceeding of the case, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's counsel Makhdoom Ali Khan requested the court for more time to produce documents pertaining to PM's will and the Sharif family's gifts. He said that he had informed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif of the court's order to produce the necessary documents and requested time till Monday for submission of the documents.
The court adjourned the hearing of the case till Monday.
