YouTube premium subscription prices to increase in Europe and Singapore

California  (Web Desk): YouTube Premium users are set to pay higher subscription fees as Google has confirmed an increase in the prices of premium plans in several European countries and Singapore.

The new pricing will take effect from September 23, 2026, and will apply to users during their next billing cycle.

Under the revised rates, the monthly fee for the individual plan in some European countries will rise from €13.99 to €15.99. In Finland, the same plan will increase from €14.99 to €16.99, while users in Romania will see the price go up from 29 to 32 Romanian lei.

Subscribers in Singapore will also face higher charges. The monthly cost of the individual plan will increase from 13.98 to 15.98 Singapore dollars, while the family plan price will rise from 27.98 to 31.98 dollars.

Google said the updated prices will be applied according to each user’s next billing date. This means customers whose upcoming payments are scheduled for September 23 or later will be charged according to the new rates.

YouTube Premium offers users an ad-free viewing experience, background playback, and several other exclusive features. Google adjusts subscription prices in different regions gradually, meaning the increase may not be applied equally across all countries.

The latest price hike comes as the company continues to review its premium service charges in various markets. Earlier, YouTube Premium prices for some plans had also been increased in the United States.
