Pakistan strongly condemns Israeli airstrikes on Syria, Nasser Hospital in Gaza

Islamabad (Web Desk): Islamabad (Web Desk): Pakistan has issued a strong denunciation of recent Israeli airstrikes targeting Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, Gaza, which resulted in the deaths of at least 21 people, including four journalists and a rescue worker.

In a statement, Foreign Office (FO) Spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan described the attack on a medical facility as deeply disturbing and a blatant breach of international human rights and humanitarian laws.

He also highlighted the alarming pattern of assaults on civilians and members of the press, emphasizing that such actions represent serious violations of the freedom of the press and established global norms.

The FO spokesperson reiterated Pakistan's call on the international community to take meaningful steps to hold Israel accountable for these actions and to act decisively to put an end to what he described as a continuing cycle of impunity.

He said that Pakistan strongly condemns and expresses grave concern over the Israeli military’s operations within Syrian territory, calling it a clear violation of international law and the principles enshrined in the United Nations Charter.

Reaffirming its unwavering support for Syria’s sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity, Pakistan called on the global community to prevent further escalation and destabilization in the region caused by such actions.
