Bilawal Bhutto Zardari takes oath as federal minister

Islamabad (Web Desk): Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari took oath as federal minister on Wednesday.

President Dr Arif Alvi administered the oath to the new member of the federal cabinet at a ceremony at President House in Islamabad.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also attended the oath-taking ceremony.

Federal Ministers including Rana Sanaullah, Naveed Qamar, Khurshid Shah, Sherry Rehman and State Minister for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar also attended the ceremony.

Former president Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal's sister Aseefa Bhutto-Zardari were also present on the occasion.

Bilawal Bhutto is likely to be given the portfolio of the foreign ministry.


In a post on Twitter, Aseefa Bhutto congratulated Bilawal for becoming the youngest foreign minister in the history of Pakistan.
