Islamabad (Staff Report/Agencies): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and former prime minister Imran Khan on Sunday appointed law expert Hamid Khan as head of party’s advisory council.
According to a statement, PTI chairman Imran Khan has set up an advisory council of the party, which would be headed by Hamid Khan.
It further said the 10-member advisory council would include Rauf Hassan, Najeeb Haroon, Arshad Dad, Jamal Ansari, Khalid Masood, Saleem Jan, Yaqoob Izhar, Tasneem Noorani and Bakhtiar Kasuri.
The advisory council will present its views and recommendations to the party chairman on important national issues, the statement added.
Hamid, who is also a founding member of the PTI, is also Imran Khan’s lawyer in contempt of court notice before the Islamabad High Court.
