Interior Minister Naqvi orders stern action over corruption allegations against NCCIA officers

Islamabad (Web Desk): Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has expressed anger over reports of corruption within the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) and ordered immediate and stringent action against the accused officials.

According to Neo News Head of Programming Rizwan Jarral, sources revealed that the scope of the inquiry has been widened to include all officers suspected of involvement in corrupt practices.

The ongoing investigation—initiated after a series of targeted raids—seeks to determine whether certain officers misused the agency’s name and authority to conduct unlawful activities.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has directed the authorities to ensure a transparent and uncompromising probe, stressing that those found guilty must face exemplary punishment.

The sources, quoting the interior minster, said that accountability within country’s top cyber crime investigation body is vital to restoring public trust and upholding the integrity of national institutions.
