Gold price increases by 1,800 per tola in Pakistan 

Karachi (Web Desk): Gold prices in Pakistan posted a notable rise on Saturday, following the global uptick in precious metals.

The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA) reported that the price of 24-karat gold per tola climbed by Rs1,800, closing the day at Rs433,662, up from Rs431,862 recorded in the previous session.

Similarly, the rate for 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs1,543, settling at Rs371,795.

The 10-gram price of 22-karat gold also advanced, gaining Rs1,414 to close at Rs340,824.
In the international bullion market, gold extended its gains as well, reaching $4,113 per ounce after an $18 rise.

Silver mirrored the same trend, with the per tola price advancing by Rs57 to Rs5,124, while 10 grams of silver appreciated by Rs49 to settle at Rs4,393. On the global front, silver prices stood at $48.62 per ounce after a modest increase of $0.3.

According to the jewellers’ association, domestic bullion rates were calculated in line with interbank exchange rates, with gold purity assessed at 999/24K.
