Islamabad (Web Desk): The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has extended the voter registration and voter information update deadline from Wednesday (October 25) to Saturday (October 28).
According to a press release issued by the Election Commission, the decision was made during a meeting chaired by Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sikandar Sultan Raja.
The CEC called upon the general public to utilize this final opportunity to ensure their registration, transfers, exclusions, and vote accuracy by October 28, 2023.
The electoral body announced that it has extended the date of vote registration, transfer, exit and data accuracy till 28 October 2023 for the convenience of the people.
It should be noted that the deadline for vote registration, transfer and data validation was Wednesday, October 25, and in this regard, a statement issued by the Election Commission said that the electoral rolls will be frozen and this deadline After that, no further registration or transfer of votes will be possible.
