Islamabad (Web Desk): Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday restored former Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Muhammad Ali Nekokara on his position.
Nekokara was suspended on March 3, 2015 over allegations that refused to use force to keep the PTI and PAT protestors away from key government buildings at the Constitution Avenue in Islamabad during 2014 sit-in.
Earlier this month, the officer submitted an appeal to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif against his dismissal before going to the tribunal and the Supreme Court as per rules.
