Gold price decreases by Rs2,300 per tola in Pakistan

Karachi (Web Desk): As the business week concludes, a notable decline in gold prices and an increase in the value of the Pakistani rupee have been recorded.

The Gold Market Association reports that the price of one tola of gold dropped by Rs2,300, settling at Rs356,700. Likewise, the price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs1,972, bringing it down to Rs305,812.

Meanwhile, the Pakistani rupee strengthened against the US dollar in the interbank market. At the end of the trading session, the rupee appreciated by 0.27%, gaining 77 paisa to stand at Rs283.45 per dollar, compared to Rs284.22 the previous day.

Economic experts believe that the decrease in gold prices and the rupee’s improvement are indicators of financial stability, with expectations for further positive trends in the economy.
