Second Test: Noman Ali delivers 6 wickets as Pakistan bowl West Indies out for 163

Multan (Web Desk): In a spectacular display of skill, Noman Ali dominated the day with a 6-wicket haul, including a remarkable hat-trick, as Pakistan ran through the West Indies batting lineup on the opening day of the second Test in Multan on Saturday.

The West Indies, after opting to bat first, were bundled out for just 163 runs in their first innings.

The day started with debutant pacer Kashif making an immediate impact, claiming the first wicket of the match by dismissing Mikyle Louis for a mere four runs. Sajid Ali quickly followed suit, picking up two crucial wickets, sending both Amir Jangoo and Alick Athanaze back to the pavilion for ducks.

Then, it was Noman Ali’s time to shine. In a spell of brilliance, Noman rattled through the West Indies' batting, taking a sensational hat-trick in the 11th over. He removed Justin Greaves, Tevin Imlach, and Kevin Sinclair in quick succession, leaving the visitors reeling.

Noman didn’t stop there, adding the scalps of opener Kraigg Brathwaite, Gudakesh Motie, and Kemar Roach to complete a comprehensive demolition job.

At one point, the West Indies were in freefall, losing seven wickets for just 38 runs over the course of 14 overs. Despite the collapse, Motie, Roach, and Jamal Worrican displayed resilience, adding crucial runs to help their side reach a total of 163 before they were all out.

Pakistan, led by Shan Masood, now have their sights firmly set on a clean sweep of the series after winning the first Test.
