Two-day 'Pakistan Governance Forum 2026' starts in Islamabad today

Islamabad (Web Desk): Islamabad is hosting the Pakistan Governance Forum 2026, a two-day event organized by the Ministry of Planning and Development, starting today.

The forum will feature over 100 prominent speakers representing a wide range of fields, while more than 500 participants will engage in discussions focused on advancing Pakistan’s governance reform initiatives.

The inauguration will be led by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, with Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Senate Chairman Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani also present.

Designed as a national platform, the forum seeks to turn innovative ideas into actionable policies, fostering Pakistan’s governance transformation through inclusive conversations and coordinated efforts.

By bringing together diverse voices and expertise, the event aims to accelerate reforms and promote effective governance across the country.
