Gold price decreases by Rs800 per tola in Pakistan

Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24 karat gold per tola saw a decline of Rs800, settling at Rs308,700 compared to Rs309,500 the previous day.

According to All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association (APSGJA), the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold decreased by Rs686, dropping from Rs265,346 to Rs 264,660, while the price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold fell by Rs629, from Rs243,242 to Rs243,613.

Silver prices also took a hit, with the cost of per tola silver reducing by Rs45, now standing at Rs3,350, down from Rs3,395.

The price of 10 grams of silver decreased by Rs38, bringing the rate to Rs2,872, compared to Rs 2,910 previously.

In the international market, gold saw a minor dip, decreasing by $8 to $2,940 from $2,948.

Similarly, silver prices edged down by $0.40, with the price now at $32.20, down from $32.60.
