Iranian FM Abbas Araghchi in Islamabad to discuss regional situation

Islamabad (Web Desk): Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, along with a delegation, is in Islamabad to discuss the latest regional situation.

According to Foreign Office (FO), upon arrival, he was received at the airport by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.

As per the sources, during his stay in Islamabad, FM is expected to engage in a series of important meetings.

He will call on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, where discussions will focus on strengthening bilateral ties and addressing key issues of mutual interest.

The Iranian FM will also meet Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and other senior officials to exchange views on regional security and mutual cooperation.

Sources further revealed that he will stay in Pakistan tonight and is expected to depart on Saturday evening.

Following his Islamabad visit, FM Araghchi’s diplomatic journey will proceed to Muscat and Moscow for further high-level consultations on regional matters.
