Lahore (Web Desk): Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on Tuesday directed the swift completion of legal procedures for the establishment of the Provincial Enforcement Regulatory Authority (PERA).
Chairing a meeting in Lahore today, she emphasised that the establishment of a competent authority is essential to curb artificial inflation and hoarding, the Radio Pakistan reported.
“Structural reforms are being introduced in every sector and that encroachments in streets and markets cannot be tolerated,” the Punjab CM said.
The meeting was briefed about progress of establishment of PERA.
