Iran launches “Operation Wada-e-Sadiq 4”, retaliates with missile attacks as Israel announces continued strikes

Tehran / Jerusalem  (Web Desk): In a major escalation of tensions in the Middle East, Israel has announced it will continue military operations against Iran and Hezbollah, reportedly disregarding a suggestion from US President Donald Trump to postpone attacks.

In response, Iran’s elite military force, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), launched a large-scale retaliatory campaign named “Operation True Promise 4.” The operation involved a coordinated barrage of multi-warhead ballistic missiles and armed drones targeting Israeli territory as well as American military installations in the region.

Reports indicate that strategic locations in Tel Aviv, Eilat, and the nuclear-linked site in Dimona were targeted, alongside facilities believed to host US forces. The IRGC reportedly deployed advanced missile systems, including the “Emad” and “Qadr” missiles, demonstrating both precision and destructive capability.

Analysts note that this escalation marks one of the most significant confrontations between Iran and Israel in recent years.

Iranian officials also sent a pointed message to President Trump, sarcastically suggesting that he monitor rising global oil prices rather than focus on social media commentary, highlighting the ongoing political tension alongside military action.

Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu emphasized that military operations will continue until Israel’s security objectives are met, stating that the nation will act decisively to safeguard its interests.

The escalation raises concerns of a broader regional conflict, with potential implications for international energy markets, maritime trade routes, and regional stability.

Security experts warn that further clashes could draw in additional state and non-state actors, including US forces, increasing the risk of a larger confrontation.
