Trump announces tariffs ranging from 15% to 50% on various countries

Washington (Web Desk):US President Donald Trump, speaking at a recent Artificial Intelligence (AI) Summit, announced the imposition of new tariffs ranging from 15% to 50% on various countries. He stated that the United States is taking firm steps to protect its trade interests.

Discussing negotiations with the European Union, Trump said that the U.S. is currently engaged in serious talks, and a deal with China is also expected soon. He further added that Japan has agreed to reduce tariffs to 15% in accordance with U.S. trade terms.

The President also expressed his intent to lower energy prices, mentioning that agreements are being made with several Asian countries to that effect.

On NATO and relations with European allies, Trump revealed that under a new deal, European partners will now pay 100% for U.S. military equipment and will also supply arms to Ukraine.

Regarding artificial intelligence, Trump claimed that the U.S. has taken the lead in the AI race and is outperforming China. During his address, he signed three executive orders aimed at strengthening America's technological and economic position.
