UK PM demands apology from Trump over NATO troops remarks

London (Web Desk): The British Prime Minister has expressed strong anger over US President Donald Trump's statement regarding the sacrifices made by NATO soldiers in the Afghan war, calling for an apology. Trump had claimed that NATO troops were not on the front lines in Afghanistan, a remark that sparked severe backlash from British politicians and the public.

UK Opposition Leader Keir Starmer stated that British soldiers had lost 457 lives in the Afghan conflict, and Trump’s statement was both disrespectful and appalling.

Prince Harry, who resides in the US, also expressed his displeasure with Trump's comments, stating that the sacrifices made by NATO and British troops in Afghanistan must be respected. Prince Harry, who served in the British Army in Afghanistan, lost several comrades during his service.
