Lahore (Web Desk/Agencies): Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Saturday met with Punjab chief minister-designate Maryam Nawaz at Raiwind, Lahore.
The caretaker CM congratulated Maryam Nawaz for being nominated for the slot of chief minister.
Mohsin Naqvi said that it was a great honour to be the first woman chief minister of the largest province of the country.
He prayed for her success and expressed hope that she would write a new history of public service in the province.
Mohsin Naqvi said that he would continue extending his support for the welfare of Punjab and its people.
The caretaker CM also briefed her about development projects in the province.
On this occasion, Maryam Nawaz thanked Mohsin Naqvi for his good wishes and appreciated his role as caretaker CM and the initiatives taken for the welfare of the people.
The CM-designate assured Naqvi that she will continue work on the ongoing public interest projects initiated by him.
