Field Marshal Asim Munir in Tehran to discuss regional peace, stability with Iranian leadership

Rawalpindi (Web Desk): Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir arrived in Tehran on an official visit to Iran, accompanied by Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.

According to Iranian media, Iranian Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni received Field Marshal Munir and Naqvi upon their arrival in Tehran.

Earlier, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, accompanied by Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, left for Iran as part of Pakistan’s efforts to promote regional peace and stability.

“During the visit, the Field Marshal will focus on promoting efforts towards a peaceful, lasting and comprehensive resolution of the conflict in the Middle East,” the ISPR said.
