Field Marshal Asim Munir departs for Iran to promote regional peace and stability: ISPR 

Rawalpindi (Web Desk): Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir left for Iran as part of Pakistan’s efforts to promote regional peace and stability, the military’s media wing said on Monday.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the CDF is accompanied by Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.

"During the visit, the Field Marshal will focus on promoting efforts towards a peaceful, lasting and comprehensive resolution of the conflict in the Middle East," the ISPR said.
