Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz elevates Punjab’s culture at World Expo 2025 meeting in Osaka

Osaka (Web Desk): Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif engaged in an important discussion with Aki Noki Manatsu, the Chief Organizer of the World Expo 2025 Association, in Osaka, Japan. The meeting focused on Pakistan’s participation and representation at the upcoming global event, with a special emphasis on promoting Punjab’s rich cultural and artisanal legacy.

Maryam Nawaz praised the Expo’s theme, “Designing Future Society for Our Lives,” and expressed her commitment to showcasing the diverse crafts and heritage of Punjab, including traditional art forms such as Ajrak and Blue Pottery, on the international stage.

The Expo officials welcomed the Chief Minister’s keen interest and involvement. Manatsu extended gratitude for her presence and provided a detailed briefing on the objectives and highlights of the Expo.

Highlighting Punjab’s abundant natural and cultural resources, Maryam Nawaz emphasized the province’s potential to present its unique artistry to the world. She further noted that Pakistan’s pavilion has already attracted over 1.2 million visitors, reflecting the global enthusiasm for Pakistani products and culture.

Expo organizers also highlighted innovations focused on enhancing public welfare, improving safety, and providing better community services.
