President Zardari, PM Shehbaz felicitate Saudi Arabia on national day

Islamabad (Web Desk): President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif extended warm greetings to the leadership and people of Saudi Arabia on the Kingdom’s National Day, reaffirming the historic and brotherly relations shared by the two nations.

President Zardari, in his message, congratulated King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, and the Saudi people on the occasion.

“On behalf of the people of Pakistan, I extend my heartfelt felicitations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, and to the brotherly people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the occasion of their National Day.”

He noted that Saudi Arabia had achieved remarkable stability and development under its visionary leadership, becoming an example for others.

President Zardari emphasized that the Pakistan–Saudi Arabia relationship is based on trust, faith, and shared values, strengthened further by the presence of Islam’s holiest sites.

He highlighted the recent progress in bilateral ties, including cooperation in defence, security, trade, and investment under Saudi Vision 2030, which he said would create new opportunities for future generations.

The prudent also acknowledged Riyadh’s consistent support during Pakistan’s testing times and praised the contributions of Pakistani workers in Saudi Arabia who play a vital role in the Kingdom’s development.

He prayed for Saudi Arabia’s continued peace, prosperity, and glory, and for the friendship between the two countries to remain strong.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, on behalf of the people and the government of Pakistan, extended the warmest felicitations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the Saudi brothers and sisters, on the observance of the National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening relations with Riyadh, describing the bond as rooted in religion, shared history, and mutual trust. Reflecting on his recent visit to Riyadh, he expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and hospitality, calling it a matter of great pride for Pakistan.

PM Shehbaz lauded Saudi Arabia’s progress under Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s leadership and recognized the Kingdom’s prominent role in global affairs.

He recalled Saudi Arabia’s unwavering support to Pakistan during economic challenges and regional tensions, particularly highlighting Riyadh’s solidarity during recent crises.

The prime minister also appreciated the contributions of millions of Pakistanis living in Saudi Arabia, describing them as a source of strength for bilateral relations.

PM Shehbaz prayed for Saudi Arabia’s enduring success, peace, and prosperity.
