Islamabad (Staff Report/Agencies): An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Tuesday granted granted bail to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan in eight different cases till June 8.
Imran Khan along with his wife Bushra Bibi reached the Islamabad judicial complex. Bushra Bibi appeared before the accountability court to seek a protective bail in the Al-Qadir Trust case.
The court approved the former lady’s bail till May 31 against surety bonds worth Rs500,000. The court also took her signatures to ensure the submission of surety bonds, before issuing a notice to the investigation officer (IO).
Later, Khan and Bushra Bibi went to an anti-terrorism court (ATC) — housed in the same judicial complex.
After getting bail, the PTI chairman and his wife left the judicial complex for NAB’s Rawalpindi office for an appearance in Al-Qadir Trust case.
