Govt increases petrol price by Rs6.39, diesel by Rs7.83 per litre

Islamabad (Web Desk): The federal government has once again increased the prices of petroleum products, announcing new rates effective from the latest price adjustment.

According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Finance, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs6.39 per litre.

Following the increase, the new price of petrol has been fixed at Rs327.12 per litre.

The notification stated that the price of high-speed diesel has also been raised by Rs7.83 per litre.

After the latest hike, high-speed diesel will now be available at Rs375.04 per litre.

The government revises petroleum prices periodically in line with changes in international oil markets, exchange rates and other related factors.

The increase in fuel prices is expected to impact transportation costs and may have an effect on the prices of goods and services across the country.
