UK deploys military forces to Gaza to restore peace

London  (Web Desk): The United Kingdom has deployed its military forces to Gaza with the goal of restoring peace in the region. British Defense Minister John Healey confirmed this deployment during a speech to business leaders in London, stating that British troops could play a crucial role in establishing long-term peace in the area.

John Healey also revealed that a senior British officer has been appointed as the Deputy Commander to the U.S. Commander, who will oversee a Civil-Military Coordination Center. The center will include military personnel from Egypt, Qatar, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

This move comes at a time when the UK's new Foreign Minister, Aviet Cooper, had stated just a week ago that there were no plans to send military forces to Israel. Despite this, the UK has decided to deploy military personnel to oversee the peacekeeping mission in Gaza. Healey further added that German military forces will also be deployed to support this mission.
