Davos (Web Desk): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) and Chief of Defence Forces (CDF), Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, were seen engaging in friendly and informal conversations with several world leaders at the 56th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland.
The international gathering, which attracts heads of state and leaders of major global institutions, offered a platform for both Pakistani leaders to interact with their counterparts and strengthen diplomatic ties.
During the forum, the prime minister and the Field Marshal held warm and personal exchanges with notable figures, including President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.
These interactions, characterized by cordiality and ease, reflected the strong and positive nature of Pakistan’s bilateral relations with these countries.
In addition to these informal meetings, both leaders also attended the special address delivered by US President Donald Trump at the Forum.
