Islamabad (Web Desk/Agencies): The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has stated that dry weather is expected across most parts of the country over the next 24 hours.

According to the PMD, the plains are likely to experience hot conditions during this period.

There is a possibility of cloudy weather accompanied by rain and thunderstorms in isolated areas of upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa later in the night.

The prevailing synoptic situation shows that continental air is affecting much of the country.

Over the past 24 hours, hot and dry conditions were dominant across many regions.

However, some rainfall and thunderstorms were reported in eastern Sindh, with Mithi receiving 15mm of rain.

The highest recorded temperatures were 39°C in Tandojam, Turbat, Lasbela, Shaheed Benazirabad, and Hyderabad.
