Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24-karat gold per tola saw a decline of Rs2,000, dropping to Rs318,800 on Friday, compared to Rs320,800 on the previous trading day.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association (APSGJA), the price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams fell by Rs1,712, settling at Rs273,319 from Rs275,034.
The cost of 22-karat gold per 10 grams also saw a decrease of Rs1,572, reducing to Rs250,551 from Rs252,123. Silver prices followed suit, with the price of per tola silver falling by Rs49 to Rs3,475, and the price of 10 grams of silver decreasing by Rs42, settling at Rs2,979.
On the global stage, the price of gold dropped by $19, from $3,050 to $3,031, while silver saw a slight reduction of $0.40, moving from $33.50 to $33.10.
