Pakpattan (Staff Report): At least three people including two suspects and a clerk were shot dead outside a lawyer's chambers in a Pakpattan court on Monday.
According to police, two brothers nominated in the murder case, Ibrahim and Ifrahim Malkana, had arrived for a hearing to secure interim bail. The brothers, along with a lawyer's clerk, were shot dead while one man was injured in the shooting and shifted to a hospital for treatment, the police added.
The deceased suspects were facing cases of murder, theft and rape, a police official said.
Following the incident, police collected evidence and started investigation.
Lawyers protested against the incident and demanded that the suspects be arrested immediately.
Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar took notice of the incident and ordered local authorities to submit a detailed report.
