Multan (Staff Report): Fire erupted in Multan District Court on Wednesday destroyed property records kept in strong room.
Horrific fire brought under control after a hectic effort of approximately one and a half hour.
DCO Multan Nadir Chattha said that a sudden fire erupted in court’s strong room which destroyed the records of properties in South Punjab dating as far back as 150 years. He added that cases relating to property disputes were also kept in the room and which may also have been lost.
He stated that the cause of the fire is still not known adding that CCTV footage of the incident is being used to help with investigation.
