PM Shehbaz calls for collective efforts to achieve development goals

Islamabad (Web Desk): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has emphasized the need for collective efforts to achieve development goals and economic stability.

Addressing the Youth Convention in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said the government is focused on public welfare agenda in collaboration with all stake holders.

“1973 constitution is binding force for political and social integrity and unity,” PM Shehbaz said.
He said that Pakistan faced the challenge of terrorism and suffered a loss of $150 billion.

“The Armed Forces of Pakistan and people from all walks of life have rendered unprecedented sacrifices in war on terror and over 70,000 people lost their lives.

PM Shehbaz said that the time has come to forge unity in all ranks and achieve social and economic progress with consensus.

The prime minister urged the youth to engage with Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) for their economic empowerment and skill development.

He said banks have been asked to provide at least forty percent of loans to the SMEs to promote small businesses.

“The key to Pakistan's progress is in the hands of youth and this is the reason the government is fully focused to empower them,” PM Shehbaz said.

He said the government is utilizing all available resources to facilitate the youth so that they can harness their potential for the progress and prosperity of the country.
