China appreciates Pakistan's role in facilitating US-Iran negotiations

Islamabad (Web Desk): Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Jiang Zaidong paid a visit on Tuesday to Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar, where the two held discussions on current developments shaping the regional landscape.

According to a statement issued by the Foreign Office (FO), Ambassador Zaidong expressed China’s strong endorsement of Pakistan’s diplomatic role and appreciated its efforts to encourage engagement between the United States and Iran in pursuit of lasting peace and regional stability.

DPM Dar reaffirmed the Pakistan-China All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership, highlighted the strength of bilateral relationship, and emphasized the importance of continuing regular high-level contacts to further deepen cooperation between the two sides.
