Hajra Yamin eyes leading roles after winning audience appreciation

Karachi  (Web Desk): Actress Hajra Yamin says she has come to realize how much audiences appreciate her work and is now looking forward to taking on leading roles in future television projects.

Speaking about the positive response to her role in Doctor Bahu, Hajra said the appreciation she received from viewers has boosted her confidence and motivated her to pursue bigger opportunities in the entertainment industry.

The actress, who is currently appearing in Humrahi and Ek Mohabbat Aur, said she always strives to give her best performance in every role and believes audience support will help her reach new milestones in her career.

Reflecting on her eight-year journey in showbiz, Hajra Yamin said both successes and challenges have helped shape her into a stronger performer.

She added that she prefers taking on complex and demanding roles rather than choosing conventional characters.

Hajra also revealed that she had initially turned down her role in Doctor Bahu but later agreed to join the project at the insistence of producer Nadeem Baig.

She praised co-star Adeel Hussain for giving her the freedom to perform naturally and develop her character effectively.

The actress said she values critical acclaim but is now also focused on achieving greater commercial success and hopes to portray a wider range of memorable characters in the future.
