Karachi (Web Desk): Karachi Kings won the toss and decided to field first against Peshawar Zalmi in the11th match of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10, at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi on Monday.
Both teams are keen to register a victory as they look to climb up the points table and gain momentum in the tournament.
When it comes to head-to-head clashes between these two franchises, Peshawar Zalmi have been the more dominant force, winning 15 out of the 21 encounters. Karachi Kings, on the other hand, have managed to secure victory in only six of those matchups.
Peshawar Zalmi didn’t get off to the ideal start this season, suffering back-to-back defeats, but they made a strong statement in their most recent outing by thrashing Multan Sultans with a massive 120-run win.
Karachi Kings have had a mixed campaign so far, winning two of their four games.
Their most recent performance, however, was a disappointing one as they could only post 128 for 7 against Islamabad United—a target Islamabad comfortably chased down in just 17.1 overs.
