Lahore (Web Desk): If you were anxiously waiting for the release of Adnan Siddiqui and Sajal Aly's Bollywood debut film ‘Mom,’ we have good news that the film is to release on July 7.
According to recent reports, the Sajal Ali starrer is now releasing on an earlier date.
Previously, the film had been announced as releasing on July 14, but that would put it up against the Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif rom-com Jagga Jasoos. Haseena, a biopic of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim's sister Haseena Parkar, is also likely to release on the same date.
The producers of Mom have decided to postpone its release to avoid a clash with these films.
Mom is touted as a "women-centric film", in which Sridevi plays a stepmom in conflict with her 18-year old daughter Sajal Aly. Adnan Siddiqui stars as Sridevi's husband.
