Islamabad (Web Desk): A senior parliamentary delegation from China, headed by Cai Dafeng, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the 14th National People’s Congress (NPC), arrived in Islamabad on Wednesday to participate in commemorative events marking 75 years of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China.
On their arrival, the delegation was received by National Assembly Speaker Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah, along with Romina Khurshid Alam, Member of the National Assembly and Convener of the Pakistan–China Parliamentary Friendship Group.
In an official statement, the Foreign Office spokesperson confirmed that the Chinese delegation will remain in Islamabad from May 20 to May 21, 2026, during which they will attend a series of events organised to celebrate the enduring and strategic partnership between Pakistan and China.
