Lahore (Staff Report/Agencies): Interior Minister Ijaz Ahmed Shah called on Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar Khan in Lahore on Monday.
According to sources, law and order situation and security arrangements in the Punjab province were discussed during the meeting. Both the leaders decided to initiate crackdown against publishers of hatred literature and speeches, they added.
They agreed to take all possible steps for the improvement of security in Punjab and strong coordination for this purpose.
Chief Minister on this occasion said that maintenance of law and order will be ensured at all costs. He said that the protection of lives and properties of people is top priority of the government.
Sardar Usman Buzdar said that operation against land grabbers will be continued.
Interior Minister Ijaz Ahmed Shah said that federal government will extend full support to provincial government in maintain law and order.
