Security forces kill 5 terrorists during IBO in Balochistan's Panjgur 

Quetta (Web Desk): Security forces eliminated five terrorists belonging to Fitna al Hindustan and injured several others during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Kali Suran, Panjgur, the security sources said on Thursday.

According to the security sources, the terrorists were travelling on motorcycles when they were intercepted while heading towards the area to launch a major terrorist attack.

The security personnel used advanced technological capabilities and sophisticated weaponry to accurately engage and neutralise the militants during the operation.

Following the operation, security forces recovered a significant quantity of modern weapons and ammunition from the terrorists.

The sources said the killed militants had been involved in various criminal and terrorist activities, including looting local people, demanding extortion, abducting individuals for ransom, carrying out target killings and planning of suicide attacks.

Security forces said operations under Operation Raddul Fitna 3 would continue as part of efforts to eliminate militant threats and restore security in the region.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has lauded the security forces for successfully preventing the “nefarious designs” of terrorists linked to Fitna-al-Hindustan, according to a statement issued by his ministry.

“The successful operations of the security forces against enemies of peace in Balochistan are commendable,” Naqvi said, according to the statement.

He said that the country remained united in its fight against terrorism and expressed solidarity with the security forces working to counter such threats.
